Steve Hutton and I were going to sing this at a wedding reception to get the couple to kiss (it was one of THOSE receptions), but we waited a little too long to actually do it. And since I haven’t posted anything on here in a while… here’s our impromptu version. (And congrats to Joanna and Eric!)
This is “Odds Are” by the Barenaked Ladies. Sort of. I guess.
Wrote this song for my wedding (which you can
watch on YouTube).
Did this song with the fantastic Ellise Bressette (who’s going to be famous one day)!

I recieved a very nice compliment from a 14-year-old on a song that I wrote when I was 14 years old, so I decided to do a song in a style I hadn’t done in 14 years.
Did this song for a video of us doing dum (sic) things. (The doo-wop style was Brandon Holland’s idea.)
Remade a song I did when I was a kid into more of what it should’ve been.
Wrote this song as a Valentine’s Day gift in 1998. (Did this recording in 2002 – pardon my vocal performance…)

Did an entire “Hope” series (most of it is lost). This is the third arrangement of the tenth song in the series (there was a lot of music…). Finished it sometime in 1994.
The title is the instruction I left for myself in the filename I saved it as when I was creating it. (Still, title aside, not bad creativity for a 14-year-old!) Did this song late 1993.
